Loomis and Face Studies

Still working my way through the Loomis Figure Drawing book. I don't feel confident enough in drawing bodies yet, but I'm getting there.

But to show something other than mannequin sketches, I decided to draw out a few head/face studies.

So I asked my friend Joe to give me a character description, and I would draw my interpretation. Pencil sketch, photographed, photoshopped.

Time for my yearly ritual of trying to stay focused on drawing.
